Dopo un incredibile mostra di bellezza e capi all’ultima moda sul red carpet, le star si sono accomodate nel Nokia Theatre per la 38esima edizione dei People’s Choice Awards ieri sera (11 Gennaio).

Con Kaley Cuoco che ha condotto la serata, i favoriti dei fans sono stati rivelati uno ad uno tra le performance di Demi Lovato e Faith Hill.

I grandi vincitori della serata si sono rivelati Emma Stone  scelta come Favorite Movie Actress mentre lo show TV “How I Met Your Mother” ha vinto come Favorite TV Comedy.

E per quanto riguarda le categorie musicali, i titoli più ambiti sono andati a Demi Lovato come Favorite Pop Artist e Rihanna come Favorite R&B Artist mentre “Born This Way” di  Lady Gaga si è aggiudicato il titolo di Favorite Album of the Year.

Un toccante e personale sguardo indietro da parte del cast nei loro anni sul set e cosa Harry Potter ha significato per loro non soltanto professionalmente, ma personalmente.

Dopo anni di duro lavoro e devozione, un nuovo video appena pubblicato mostra il cast e il personale di “Harry Potter e i Doni della Morte Parte 2″ sul set per il loro ultimo giorno di lavoro insieme.

Un emozionato Daniel Radcliffe ha detto, “Voglio soltanto dire che amo questo posto. E’ stato la mia vita. Non so cosa saranno i giorni della mia vita quotidiana senza di voi. Tutti voi. Voglio dirvi che ho amato ogni minuto e vi ringrazio tantissimo per averlo reso possibile.”

Subito dopo potete vedere l’attore di Harry Potter camminare verso i co-star Emma Watson e Rupert Grint per scambiarsi un commovente abbraccio di gruppo.

Sull’argomento, il regista David Yates ha detto, “E’ stato difficile a volte… ma sempre divertente.”

Harry Potter e i Doni della Morte parte 2 ha incassato ben 42,5 milioni di dollari nella prima serata al cinema negli Stati Uniti e Canada, secondo Warner Bros. Il precedente record era di 30 milioni, realizzato nel 2009 dal film della Saga di Twilight, “New Moon”. I fans hanno iniziato a mettersi in fila da giovedì per i primi spettacoli al cinema.

Il film, che vede come protagonisti ancora una volta Emma Watson e Daniel Radcliffe, è sulla strada giusta per battere il record d’apertura di tutti i tempi, ottenuto on 158,4 milioni da “The Dark Knight” nel 2008. Dopo aver aperto in 26 mercati in tutto il mondo mercoledì e in altri 17 giovedì, il film ha incassato 82,5 milioni internazionalmente in due giorni. Il che è il 39 percento in più rispetto a quanto aveva ricavato “I Doni della Morte parte 1″ negli stessi paesi.

Uno dei film più attesi dell’anno, “Harry Potter e i Doni della Morte Parte 2″ ha avuto la sua prima a New York City ieri sera (11 Luglio).

E naturalmente non potevano mancare i suoi protagonisti, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, e Rupert Grint riuniti al Lincoln Center per posare per le foto e firmare autografi per i tanti fans presenti per ammirarli.

Si sono uniti al gruppetto di maghi anche il loro co-star Tom Felton e l’attrice di “Sex and the City” Sarah Jessica Parker con la sua famiglia, oltre alla star di “Modern Family”, Sarah Hyland.

In una recente intervista, Radcliffe, ha dichiarato che potrebbe seguire l’esempio di Emma Watson e iniziare gli studi per avere un diploma universitario ora che l’esperienza in Harry Potter è ormai finita.

“Guardo tantissime cose su Discovery Channel e ho iniziato a prendere in considerazione di fare un corso alla Open University perché inizio ad essere sempre più affascinato dall’archeologia. Quindi, si, è triste dare l’addio a Harry, ma sono eccitato di vedere cosa mi riserva il futuro.”

Emma Watson parla dell’ultima parte del film Harry Potter in questa nuova featurette, nel frattempo Larry King si sta preparando a dedicare uno speciale per la CNN sull a fortunata serie cinematografica.

Il programma, che verrà trasmesso il prossimo 10 luglio sulla CNN, vedrà interviste con Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, Helena Bonham Carter e Robbie Coltrane, oltre a mostrare riprese mail viste del film,  a pochi giorni dalla sua prima mondiale.
